Sculptra® Aesthetic

Sculptra® is a gradual filler that builds your own collagen slowly after it is injected. Sculptra® is a synthetic material known as “poly-L-lactic acid” that has been used widely for many years in dissolvable stitches, soft tissue implants and other types of implants. Sculptra® is biocompatible (a material that does not harm the body) and biodegradable (able to be broken down by the body). Sculptra® works gradually to fill lines, wrinkles and other volume deficits by increasing skin thickness and stimulating collagen growth. The result is a more youthful, natural look that improves over time. Sculptra® treatment results last an average of 2-3 years in most patients. Only certain physicians can inject Sculptra®, such as dermatologists and facial plastic surgeons, who undergo specific training to inject this product.

Sculptra® can be injected into a variety of places for full-face volumization. However, this product cannot be used in the lips. Ask your physician about the “Juvederm lip special” when booking your appointment for Sculptra®.
